GUARANTEE POLICY

We work every day at La Pontezuela to provide you with one of the best Extra Virgin Olive Oils (EVOO) in the world. For this reason, the elaboration process of our products is carefully carried out with attention to detail, so they arrive to you with their attributes and qualities in perfect condition.

Incidents or defects are minimal and very rare. However, if for any reason our product is not what you expected, we offer a personalized, efficient and very fast after-sales service.

La Pontezuela guarantees the optimal condition of the products it sells within the preferred consumption date indicated on its label. According to EU laws and regulations EVOO has a maximum period of consumption of 2 years (24 months) from its packaging date. After this period, the organoleptic and sensory properties as well as the attributes of the product can no longer be guaranteed.

Most of the products sold on lapontezuela.com have been classified as immediately non-perishable (food). The consumer may return or exchange products for any reason within a maximum period of 7 business days after receiving the order. It is highly recommended to store the product in conditions that avoid exposure to light and heat.

The Spanish Law on the Sales of Consumer Goods Guarantee determines that after sixth months from sale it is the responsibility of the buyer to prove, through a technical or expert report, that the alleged defect is due to the manufacturer and already existed at the time of the delivery of the product, and was not caused by misuse or improper handling.

This guarantee policy is subject to the provisions of Law 7/1996, of January 15, on the Regulation of Retail Trade, a law amended by Law 1/2010, of March 1, amending Law 7/1996, of January 15, on the Retail Trade Organization, and other corresponding laws, as well as any other applicable law or regulation.
