Oleo-tourism in Finca La Pontezuela.
La Pontezuela is committed to educating national and international consumers on the culture of Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
It is for this reason we offer an ample range of types of visits and activities at our groves, located in a beautiful natural setting, just a few kilometres from the Cabañeros National Park in the heart of the Montes de Toledo.
Visitors can enjoy guided tours through our centenary olive groves and modern oil mill, taste our different EVOOs produced on our estate and other typical local products, as well as partake in other fun olive oil activities.
Do you want to learn about the fascinating world of the olive grove?
Our unique, new, Olive Grove Interpretation Centre is an international model for oleo-tourism. It was not only developed to promote and disseminate the culture of the olive grove and EVOO but also to demonstrate the special character the olive tradition adds to Los Navalmorales and the surrounding towns.
Equipped with the latest technology, visitors can explore the intricacies of olive farming as well as the production of Extra Virgin Olive Oil. At the end of the tour, visitors can shop high quality gourmet products in our exclusive store.
Guests will learn all of the secrets behind harvesting, milling, packaging and tasting one of Spain’s best Extra Virgin Olive Oils. They will also enjoy an exceptional natural area that is home to a wide range of native flora and fauna. Perhaps one of the most unique species on our estate is the rare Iberian lynx.
Our facilities are accessible and have a large parking area.
COVID-19 protocol for visits.
La Pontezuela takes your health very seriously. We have prepared a strict protocol to follow with the necessary requirements and COVID-19 prevention measures that we ask all staff and visitors to comply with throughout our facilities. These apply to Oleo-tourism activities, visits to the Olive Grove Interpretation Centre, tastings in our 5 Elementos EVOO Experience Space and at Finca La Pontezuela, as well as for all our services and events in companies or held in third-party spaces.
The different activities will be carried out in small groups, of no more than 10 people, and maintaining the minimum safety distance of 1.5 metres when possible.
The use of masks is mandatory at all times, except during the 5 Elementos Extra Virgin Olive Oil tasting. During this activity, safety distances will be increased between participants.
Antiseptic gel dispensers are made available throughout the tour and during the activities so that visitors can frequently disinfect their hands.
Visitors and customers who present any coronavirus symptoms are kindly requested to contact La Pontezuela to cancel their reservation and/or activity. We thank you for your collaboration to help us make our spaces a safe place.
